We are a family owned business which, in our 25 year history, has always remained true to our core values of best value and service excellence, taking care of our people who in turn take care of our clients. Simple really.

Over time our business has diversified from being a predominately retail specialist into many other aspects of security. Unlike some companies we do not claim to do everything – but what we do we do well. A sound philosophy resulting in our impressive client list and unrivaled customer retention.

(Total Security Services) Ltd currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Security Guarding and Public Space CCTV Services and Keyholding and Response Services. T.S.S. (Total Security Services) Ltd has been awarded Gold Standard by the NSI (National Security Inspectorate) for ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety Management System).

The principle behind our approach is simple: To provide our clients with the Gold Standard in Security.

Key to achieving our objective is ensuring all our officers are fully trained to meet the individual needs of a client. This starts with their course based security training and is enhanced with client- and location-specific training. Understanding our Clients requirements enables us to design and implement bespoke training and management programmes – essential if we are to deliver service excellence.

TSS has joined a select group of organisations approved by the Home Office and accredited by NaCTSO (National Counter Terrorism Security Office) to deliver its Project Griffin counter terrorism awareness initiative to their own staff.

Service excellence starts with recruiting the best applicants and ensuring they receive the best training available within the Industry.

It is with this in mind that TSS insists on every employee, regardless of position or experience, undertaking our in-house Security Training Programme – delivered by our own in-house trainers at our own training centres. Most importantly, we do not subcontract, so you know that every officer supplied by TSS is trained to our own high standards.

In order to provide a national service on a local basis TSS operates from a network of regional offices – each with its own dedicated 24-hour Control Centre. This ensures local knowledge and support is always available to both customers and employees. By providing services ourselves this way, TSS can guarantee to deliver the service standard demanded by our customers.

Our History


New head office, new technology

Whilst concentrating on core business, in 2015 TSS continue to develop with the introduction of a variety of different technologies to enhance service delivery and a New Head Office Building to support the needs of a growing business.

TSS celebrate 25 years

Not only did TSS celebrate 25 years in business in 2014, TSS were also awarded the NSI 18001 Health & Safety Gold Accreditation. 2014 also saw the introduction of the TSS Mascot called SAM.

TSS Recognised For Excellence

By 2013 TSS opened four new Regional Offices in Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow & Belfast in addition to achieving a Top SIA ACS Score of 159, and being awarded with Investors In People.

The Gold Standard Of Security

Under new leadership between 2000 and 2009 TSS were awarded NSI Guarding Silver, NSI Guarding Gold, and became a member of the SIA ACS. TSS also began servicing clients outside London. The growth of the client base brought with it a new TSS office in Bristol and a Dedicated Training Facility in London.

The Millennium brought with it New Leadership for TSS. Ricky Gardezi was appointed Managing Director of the Company
